Data Protection
This statement describes the processing of personal data on the CASA ENERGY website. Separate CASA portals and subsequent project or consultancy assignments may have their own privacy policies.
Data controller

Provision and technical access data
When a page is accessed, the following data in particular is processed: IP address, requested resource, time of access, and technically transmitted browser and connection data. This is necessary for the delivery and security of the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) DSGVO. STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, is designated as the hosting provider for live operation. Personal technical logs are to be deleted within seven days at the latest during normal operation; specific security incidents may require longer retention for specific purposes. The actual hosting configuration will be verified prior to the start of live operation.
Getting in touch
When you contact us, we process your name, organisation, contact details and message in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual enquiries; for other business enquiries, it is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The legitimate interest is to respond to and maintain business communications. Access is granted to authorised personnel and necessary technical service providers. Data will be deleted as soon as the purpose no longer applies, provided that there are no retention obligations or necessary legal proceedings to the contrary.
Form and protection against misuse
The form processes your name, organisation, email address, enquiry and message. It uses input validation and technical safeguards against misuse without an external CAPTCHA service. Short-lived technical identifiers may be required to limit repeated requests. In a preview mode where email delivery has not been set up, no form data is transmitted to CASA. The alternative email link opens your own email programme.
Languages, scripts and external links
The selected language is determined by the URL accessed. The website does not use any permanent storage in the browser for this purpose. Fonts and images are served locally. No analytics or advertising services are integrated, nor are any automatically loaded maps, videos or social media platforms. External websites are only accessed by clicking on their links; the respective privacy policies apply there.
Your rights
Subject to the statutory conditions, you have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing under Article 6(1)(f) DSGVO on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. No decisions are made solely by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Storage and service providers
We restrict access to those persons necessary for processing the data. Any data processors engaged are integrated in accordance with data protection requirements. Should additional services be introduced or changes be made to our operations at a later date, this statement will be amended accordingly.
